Job summary

British Swim School is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist, known as a Deck Ambassador, to work poolside and ensure an excellent customer experience. You will set up and break down the pool deck, check water chemistry, welcome students and parents, answer questions about accounts or progress, assist instructors, and post media content.

The role offers flexible schedules (4–5 hour shifts), paid training, birthday leave, annual PTO and medical benefits, with opportunities for bonuses

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Have a responsible and professional demeanor.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s), may be obtained during training.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
• Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
• Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
• Answering customers' questions about their account, their child’s progress, or about the program.
• Assist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
• Post media content and monitor social media platforms.
