Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate and train dealer partners, identify opportunities, and manage a growing dealer base across the assigned region.

You will drive field sales, develop relationships with independent and franchise dealers, and ensure program knowledge and timely funding support. A college degree and travel readiness are preferred, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales is required.
• 1-2 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong presentation skills from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
• Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL is beneficial.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred.
• Willingness for significant local travel with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to management in dealerships.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts in the assigned area.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity with dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partnerships within independent and franchise dealers.
• Maintain consistent communication with dealer partners to train on programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans for profitable approvals.
• Assist with preparation of sales contracts by guiding dealer verification.
• Develop sales materials and stay updated on financial product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows for dealers.
