Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate and train dealer partners, grow the dealer base, and manage field sales across a designated area. The role requires consultative selling, travel within the local market, and the ability to develop strong relationships with independent and franchise dealers.

You will manage product delivery, ensure program understanding, and drive funded volume while maintaining quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• Automotive, Finance and Sales experience required.
• 1-2 years in a sales role with a proven track record.
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
• Ability to communicate and work well with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL is beneficial.
• Outside sales experience is preferred.
• Must travel locally and possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate products and services to management in dealerships.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity with dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partners within independent and franchise dealer networks.
• Maintain constant communication via phone and in-person visits to train on programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans for approval and profitability.
• Assist with preparing sales contracts by educating dealers on verification needs.
• Develop and keep up-to-date sales materials and product knowledge.
• Represent the company at marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
