Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect in the Strategic Pricing & Insights Group to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's most strategic opportunities. You will help shape, negotiate, and close new business opportunities by drawing together competitive intelligence, client requirements, internal cost-to-serve estimates, and pricing methodologies to maximize margins.

You will guide teams in developing a competitive and compelling business case for our clients and EY through

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting or related fields.
Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring deals with various pricing strategies across consulting and managed services.
Strong pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence and influencing skills.
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate research and analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
Assess proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
Use competitive intelligence to challenge solution design and improve client value for EY and the client.
Design commercial structures aligned to client value drivers while ensuring EY returns.
Translate complex commercial and financial considerations into executive narratives and governance.
