Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect within the Strategic Pricing & Insights Group to lead financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY’s most strategic opportunities. You will shape, negotiate, and close new business by integrating pricing methodologies, client requirements, and EY cost-to-serve to maximize margins.

You will guide teams in creating compelling business cases and negotiate within EY governance to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in professional services, preferably pricing/mercials, strategy consulting or related fields.
• Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and metrics.
• Experience designing and structuring deals with various pricing strategies.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management and executive presence.
• Able to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners.
• University/Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
• Assess EY’s proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value.
• Use competitive intelligence to challenge solution design and improve client and EY value.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value while ensuring EY returns.
• Governance: translate complex commercial and financial considerations into a decision narrative for executives.
