WORK Inc. is seeking a House Manager for Deaf Services in Weymouth, MA.

This full-time role oversees a group home for adults who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, providing leadership, operations management, and program development to ensure safe, high-quality living spaces and resident well-being. Responsibilities include supervision of direct care staff, creating individualized plans, coordinating healthcare, and promoting inclusive living.

Qualifications

Fluent in ASL (American Sign Language).
Bachelor’s or higher in Education, Special Education, Social Work, or related field; or related experience.
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License with safe driving record.
CPR/First Aid certification and safety care training provided.
Proficiency with basic technology and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth.
Integrate quality of life principles into daily management and program development.
Prepare and implement program goals, individual service plans and progress notes.
Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians and providers.
Provide for healthcare needs and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Directly supervise a team of direct care staff.
Interview, hire and train employees and plan, assign, and direct work.
Address complaints and resolve problems; handle on-call emergencies.
