Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager in a large Charlotte, NC distribution center. You will lead inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations, driving productivity while controlling expenses and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will coach supervisors and associates, optimize warehouse layout, and align with senior leadership on strategic objectives to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Experience leading large hourly workforce in a DC environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations to ensure efficiency.
• Evaluate work methods, staffing, and layout for optimal cost-to-serve and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordinate with 3PL providers if applicable.
• Coach and develop associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• Maintain culture of safety and monitor key DC metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM on strategic goals and performance targets.
