Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a DC Operations Manager to lead inbound, warehouse, outbound and office operations in a large distribution center. You will partner with the GM/AGM to set productivity strategies and manage costs while developing associates.

You will supervise multiple supervisors and hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, coach teams, ensure safety, and optimize layout and equipment for efficient load planning for stores and customers.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays.
• Open to relocation for advancement opportunities.
• 2 years minimum leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational excellence across warehouse areas and WMS systems.
• Evaluate and optimize work methods, staffing, and layouts for efficiency.
• Help drive financial, operational and service objectives to cut costs.
• Coach and develop associates with on-floor and formal feedback.
• Maintain a safe, union-free workplace and monitor safety metrics.
• Coordinate with 3PL/transport partners for outbound loads and carrier performance.
