Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and influence the distribution center's overall efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will manage 20 to 30 hourly associates, handle hiring and development, and ensure accurate handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities include coaching, driving performance, inventory control, and coordinating with Operations Manager to meet business plans. Overnight travel is occasional and relocation is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 20–30 hourly associates and drive efficiency, safety and productivity.
• Coach and develop associates, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations.
• Manage HR activities: hiring, compensation, discipline and terminations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and analyze key metrics for performance improvements.
• Coordinate operations to align with business plans and staffing needs.
