Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to oversee multiple warehouse functions in a dynamic distribution center environment. You will work with the General Manager or DC Assistant General Manager to set strategies that maximize productivity, manage expenses, and drive continuous improvement across inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations.

You will motivate and develop a large hourly workforce, ensure safety, optimize layouts, and maintain strong vendor/carrier

Qualifications

Requires at least 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse/distribution setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
Demonstrates strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound, warehouse, outbound, transportation, or office operations with Supervisors.
Assist GM/AGM to optimize processes, staffing, and layout for efficiency and cost control.
Lead safety initiatives and maintain a union-free environment.
Coach and develop associates; on-floor and formal evaluations.
Monitor safety, security, and operational metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
Collaborate with 3PL or carrier relations for outbound loads as needed.
