Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an experienced DC Operations Manager to lead multiple warehouse functions in a large distribution center. You will drive productivity, safety, and cost efficiency while supervising frontline teams and coordinating with the GM/AGM.

Key duties include optimizing inbound/outbound flows, evaluating methods, training associates, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred education: bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Operational excellence across warehouse areas, ensuring efficient WMS usage and safe product handling.
• Assist leadership in evaluating work methods, controls and staffing for optimal efficiency.
• Support on financial, operational, people and service objectives to drive improvements and reduce costs-to-serve.
• Coach and develop associates through on-floor and formal training programs.
• Promote a culture of safety by following policies and monitoring safety metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
• Coordinate with 3PL or carriers for outbound loads and monitor transport performance.
