Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead a complex distribution center and ensure it operates as an outstanding place to work. You will supervise multiple departments, drive productivity, safety, and cost-performance, and partner with senior leadership to achieve strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in supervision within a DC/warehouse, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a proven track record of optimizing processes and staffing to meet seasonal needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and manage multiple functions.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate processing of products.
• Partner with GM/AGM to evaluate work methods, staffing, and procedures to optimize layout and productivity.
• Lead cost-to-serve improvement initiatives and drive continuous performance improvements across the DC.
• Coach and develop associates through formal and informal training, maintaining a union-free, employee-centered culture.
• Uphold safety standards and monitor safety metrics, security, and operational performance daily to ensure compliance.
