Job summary

The Home Depot in Westfield, MA is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead inbound, warehouse, outbound and office operations in a dynamic distribution center.

You will partner with the General Manager/Assistant General Manager to set objectives, improve productivity, safety, and cost-to-serve; supervise multiple supervisors and a large hourly workforce; and coordinate with carriers and 3PLs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational excellence across warehouse areas and ensure efficient WMS operations.
• Assist GM/AGM with evaluating work methods, staffing, and layouts for efficiency.
• Help drive cost-to-serve improvements and coordinate with 3PL if applicable.
• Coach, train, and develop associates; maintain union-free workplace.
• Ensure safety culture and monitor safety metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
• Collaborate with GM on outbound load processes and carrier performance.
