Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager to lead and optimize inbound, warehouse, outbound, and transportation operations within a distribution center. You will supervise multiple supervisors and hundreds of hourly associates, driving efficiency, safety, and cost-to-serve improvements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the GM/AGM on staffing, process improvements, and performance metrics; coaching associates; and partnering with 3PL or delivery services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20% to ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas and safe, efficient processing of inventory.
• Assist GM/AGM with evaluating work methods, staffing, and layout for maximum efficiency.
• Assist in achieving DC financial, operational, people, process, and service objectives; lead teams to continuous improvement.
• Coach, train, and develop associates; maintain a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• Uphold safety culture; monitor safety metrics, security, and operations.
