Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team and optimize distribution center operations for safety and productivity. You will hire, evaluate, and develop staff and supervise 20–30 hourly associates.

Key duties include enforcing procedures, coaching associates for safety and quality, maintaining inventory accuracy, and planning staffing to meet business needs. Overnight travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Managing Process: Ensures all operations procedures are followed effectively, and identifies and recommends changes to standard processes for the area.
• Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates, trains, coaches, provides feedback, and handles hiring/discipline for hourly staff.
• Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy, reviews reports, and identifies improvements for productivity and quality.
• Business Planning: Coordinates operations to meet production rates and analyzes staffing needs from reports.
• Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.
