Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly team in a fast-paced distribution center in the United States. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and accurate merchandise handling, including hiring, development and performance management of 20 to 30 associates.

The supervisor will optimize operations, coach staff, and manage staffing plans while ensuring adherence to procedures and driving key performance indicators across productivity, accuracy, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and relocate if needed.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop hourly associates to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Ensure adherence to all operational procedures and drive process improvements.
• Oversee staffing, coaching, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and drive improvements in key metrics.
