Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Area Supervisor to lead an hourly distribution team, drive safety and efficiency, and ensure accurate merchandise handling. You will hire, evaluate and develop staff while maintaining strong daily operations and reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will supervise 20–30 associates, monitor KPIs, coach performance, and implement processes that align with the department's business plan.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and WMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead an hourly team of 20–30 associates.
• Coach and develop associates, provide feedback, and handle hiring, discipline and termination as needed.
• Monitor metrics and drive productivity, safety, service, and quality.
• Coordinate operations with leadership to meet production goals and staffing needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.
