Workforce Recruiter in Connecticut is seeking two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers to partner with Lead Unit Managers to drive unit operations and clinical workflow. These on-site, Monday–Friday daytime roles focus on overseeing daily care delivery, EMR documentation, orders processing, and cross‑unit coordination within a senior healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing in SNF/LTC with supervisory/desk nurse experience.
• Strong administrative multitasking and order reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for care planning and orders.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations, shift reports, and nursing workflows across two units.
• Review, process, and reconcile physician orders, labs, and pharmacy profiles.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and staff for resident care plans.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning updates, and hospital discharge prep.
• Coach and support floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to uphold clinical standards.
• Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with DPH and facility QA benchmarks.
