ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks two daytime RN Desk Nurses/Assistant Unit Managers in Connecticut to partner with Lead Unit Managers in daily unit operations.

The role combines clinical leadership with administrative oversight, focusing on care delivery, documentation, orders, and workflows across two units. Ideal candidates hold active CT RN licenses with 2–3 years in SNF/LTC supervisory roles, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in PointClickCare.

Qualifications

• RN license, active and unrestricted in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing in SNF/LTC with supervisory/desk nurse/unit management experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage two active clinical units.
• High proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for care planning and audits.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, nursing staff, and resident families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations, shift reports, and nursing workflows across two units.
• Review, process, and reconcile physician orders, lab results, and pharmacy profiles for timely clinical action.
• Act as liaison between physicians, therapy teams, families, and staff to align resident care plans.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning updates, and hospital discharge prep.
• Provide coaching and guidance to floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure EMR documentation meets Connecticut DPH and internal QAPI standards.
