Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking two daytime Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers for a Connecticut long-term care facility. You will partner with the Lead Unit Manager to oversee daily care delivery and unit workflows on two resident units, Monday through Friday, day shift.

This clinical-administrative leadership role requires CT RN licensure and SNF/LTC supervisory experience. Proficient EMR use (PointClickCare), strong organizational and communication skills, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Current, active CT RN license required.
• 2–3 years LTC/SNF supervisory or desk nurse experience.
• Proficient with EMR systems (PointClickCare).
• Strong communication with physicians, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations and shift reports with the Lead Unit Manager.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, lab results, and charting.
• Serve as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and discharge prep.
• Provide coaching and guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Maintain EMR documentation in compliance with DPH standards.
