Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking two Daytime RN Desk Nurses/Assistant Unit Managers to partner with Lead Unit Managers in two-unit LTC environments in Connecticut. The role combines clinical care with administrative oversight, supervising daily nursing workflows and ensuring accurate documentation across upstairs and downstairs units.

Ideal candidates hold an active CT RN license, with 2–3 years in SNF/LTC leadership, and are skilled in coordinating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut (active, unrestricted).
• 2–3 years of SNF/LTC nursing with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage two units.
• Proficient EMR usage for care planning, orders, audits.
• Excellent communication with physicians, leadership, nurses, and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily unit operations with Lead Unit Manager.
• Review and reconcile physician orders, labs, and meds for accuracy.
• Act as liaison among physicians, therapy teams, families, and nursing staff.
• Assist with resident assessments, care plan updates, and discharge prep.
• Coach and support floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on clinical standards.
• Ensure EMR documentation meets DPH and internal quality benchmarks.
