SteveRecruiter, LLC is recruiting two Daytime RN Desk Nurses / Assistant Unit Managers for a mission-driven senior healthcare organization in Connecticut. You will partner with Lead Unit Managers to oversee daily care delivery, clinical documentation, physician orders, and unit workflows across two resident units.

This daytime leadership role combines clinical practice with administrative oversight, requiring LTC nursing experience, strong EMR, and effective communication with physicians, staff,

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Connecticut required
• 2–3 years clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC with supervisory/desk nurse/ unit management experience
• Strong administrative multitasking, order reconciliation, and detail orientation

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily unit operations, shift reports, and nursing workflows across two units
• Review and reconcile physician orders, labs, diagnostics, and pharmacy profiles for accurate clinical execution
• Liaise with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, families, and staff to align resident care plans
• Assist with resident clinical assessments, care planning updates, and hospital discharge prep
• Provide coaching and guidance to floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Maintain EMR documentation standards per CT DPH and internal QA benchmarks
