Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is hiring a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be a key part of the patient experience. You will greet patients and visitors, direct them to the right resources, and help ensure a smooth check-in/out process.

As a PSR, you will collect demographics and insurance details, verify information, and schedule appointments for both established and new patients. You will also assist with answering calls and coordinating physician schedules in a busy medical office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training or equivalent education mix.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous, helpful manner.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information; process payments at check-in/out.
• Schedule appointments for established and new patients.
• Coordinate physicians’ schedules and know physician specialties.
• Answer phones, take messages, and provide information as needed.
• Handle mail and paperwork via fax; manage medical records with accuracy.
