Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to serve as the essential link between patients and medical staff. You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and assist with check-in/check-out and appointment scheduling.

Key duties include confirming information, communicating co-pays and eligibility, and supporting lobby organization. This is a day-shift, hourly non-exempt role essential to PMC’s patient-centered care mission.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One to two years in a medical office is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Check in/out patients, verify information, and schedule appointments.
• Explain financial responsibilities such as co-pays and insurance eligibility.
• Maintain lobby area and ensure magazines are current.
• Coordinate physician schedules and understand medical practices.
• Answer phones, take messages, and provide accurate information.
• Process mail and medical records with accuracy and security.
