Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN is seeking a part-time cook to prepare, assemble baked goods, cook and portion food for patients, residents, staff and visitors. You will follow menus and dietary requirements, ensure HACCP compliance, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities include operating a variety of kitchen equipment and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver safe, high-quality meals. Must be able to stand for long periods and work mornings with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Basic math for portioning and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks and portions food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Adheres to menu and dietary requirements and HACCP guidelines.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, grinders, etc.) and maintains sanitation.
• Works with team to ensure timely service and quality food.
