Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake, MN is seeking a part-time evening cook to support our dietary team. The shift runs from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus one additional day per week (20 hours per two-week pay period).

Some weekday training and orientation are required, and you can pick up additional open shifts as needed. As a cook, you will prepare, bake, cook and portion meals for residents, staff and visitors, following menu and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions; basic math.
• Minimum six months of applicable experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending on location.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, cook and portion food for residents, staff and guests.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and daily production sheets.
• Maintain sanitation, labeling and storage of food, equipment and supplies.
• Work with team to ensure quality and safety of meals.
