Job summary

Good Samaritan in Roseville, MN is seeking a PRN cook to prepare and serve meals for patients and residents. The role involves assembling baked goods, cooking to menu and dietary guidelines, and ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

You will work closely with staff to maintain quality and efficiency in a dynamic kitchen environment. Prior food service experience and basic math skills are preferred; Serv Safe knowledge and potential BLS requirements may apply depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble baked goods, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food and food products.
• Operate kitchen equipment and maintain sanitation and labeling of food and supplies.
• Display teamwork and clear communication with internal customers.
