Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake, MN, is seeking a part-time cook for evening shifts. You will prepare and portion meals for residents and staff, adhering to menus, dietary requirements, and HACCP standards.

The role requires the ability to work evenings with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, operating multiple kitchen appliances, and ensuring proper sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to prepare, store and use food.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, grills, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
