Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Utah seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication, with daily labor scheduling and space management under the Operations Manager.

The role includes hiring/training, performance appraisals, driving safety and quality, meeting client KPIs, and developing teams while maintaining SOP compliance and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a Highschool diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Preferred: PriorMHE certification /knowledge ofbasicMHEoperation

Responsibilities

• Lead daily/weekly staff meetings and plan activities.
• Inform senior management and client reps of critical issues.
• Develop safe, profitable operating systems and procedures.
• Meet prescribed KPI targets and ensure quality system compliance.
• Coordinate hiring, training and performance evaluations.
• Plan daily work schedules and assign duties to warehouse staff.
• Train new staff and monitor progress.
