Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Database Service Manager to architect and lead database platform solutions across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will partner with Enterprise Architecture to shape roadmaps and ensure robust backup, HA, DR, and efficient operations according to Dow’s standards. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in the field, strong SQL Server/Oracle experience, and a track record of delivering secure, cost‑effective database solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience recognized by the U.S. or Canada at senior levels.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and lead database platform solutions for Dow across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and maintain database technologies roadmaps.
• Ensure backup, HA, DR, patching, upgrades and operational tasks meet SLAs and standards.
