Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Database Service Manager to architect and lead database platform solutions across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with IT leaders to develop roadmaps, ensure HA/DR capabilities, and optimize Total Cost of Ownership while maintaining security and compliance.

The role requires strong SQL Server and Oracle experience, cloud familiarity (Azure preferred), and the ability to work across cross‑functional teams. Relocation support is not provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience or 8 years of experience in lieu.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a closely related field.
U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

Architect and lead database platform solutions for Dow.
Develop and maintain database technologies roadmap with Enterprise Architecture teams.
Architect, design and implement backup, HA, DR, and related day-to-day activities.
Partner with Database Managed Services to ensure timely, efficient delivery of solutions.
Manage change, incident and problem tickets per SLAs and ensure security and performance.
