Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Database Service Manager to architect and lead database platform solutions across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will work with IT leadership to develop roadmaps, manage backups, high availability, and disaster recovery, and ensure efficient operations with MSP partners.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related roles, expertise in SQL Server and Oracle, and strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Relocation is not provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ormilitary equivalent (U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent) or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a closely related field.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement database solutions for on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead with Database IT Leader and Enterprise Architecture to develop roadmap.
• Maintain database inventory and licensing; manage backups, HA and DR.
• Coordinate with MSP to ensure timely delivery of database services.
• Handle Change/Incident/Problem tickets per SLAs and ensure security compliance.
• Audit-ready practices and collaboration with cloud/on-prem teams.
