Job summary
Dow Inc. is seeking a Database Service Manager to architect and lead database platform solutions across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with IT leadership and Enterprise Architecture to develop roadmaps and ensure high availability, DR, and optimized costs.
Responsibilities include managing incidents, changes, and problems per SLAs, coordinating with managed services, and driving automation with AI tools while upholding security and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with RDBMS on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Ability to architect and implement database solutions with high availability and disaster recovery.
- Strong collaboration with IT leaders and enterprise architecture teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead database platform solutions for Dow across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Partner with Managed Services to ensure timely delivery of database services and SLA adherence.
- Maintain database inventory and assist with licensing and audits.
- Leverage AI tools to automate database activities while ensuring security and performance.
