Job summary

Hawaii Public Schools is seeking a Data Processing User Support Technician II, SR-15, to train and assist users on system equipment and department applications, including Financial Management System, eSIS, Time & Attendance, and other in‑house tools. You will diagnose and fix hardware/software issues, prepare training materials, and support onboarding with hands‑on sessions.

The role also covers creating ad hoc reports, performing on‑site installations, and coordinating training center

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; English grammar and comprehension demonstrated.
• Experience explaining technical concepts to non‑technical users is preferred.
• Prior training material development or presentation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist users on system equipment and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and guide users to solutions.
• Create models, worksheets, and ad hoc reports to support financial needs.
• Perform on-site installations and reconfigurations of system hardware and software.
• Coordinate training activities and manage training center resources.
