The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking Data Processing User Support Technicians at various locations, including Kihei, to provide frontline support for users and training on district systems.

This role includes troubleshooting hardware and software, creating training materials, and assisting users with a range of school applications such as Financial Management System and eSIS.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with strong English grammar and usage.
• Experience assisting users with hardware and software problems.
• Ability to read and understand complex written materials such as rules, procedures or policies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide training and hands-on assistance to users on system equipment and applications, including installation and configuration.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and advise users on solutions, coordinating with higher-level staff when needed.
• Create models, worksheets, and data files to support financial or operational needs of the department.
• Install and reinstall system hardware and software and coordinate training center activities.
