Job summary

ABB is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to provide national support to Data Center KAMs in developing field services proposals for mission-critical data center infrastructure. The role emphasizes startups, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and 24/7 service agreements for uptime.

The position operates remotely within the United States and reports to the Sales Manager, contributing to the Electrification Services Division.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or business.
12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with best product mix and cost details.
Ensure tenders are well-documented with full costs and detail.
Lead and manage technical, financial, and project management aspects of bid processes.
Manage collection and archival of offer/order documentation and record key decisions.
