Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist who will support National KAMs in developing field services proposals for critical data center infrastructure. You will identify value-added service solutions including Start-Up & Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance, and 24/7 emergency service for uptime requirements.

The role is remote with the Electrification Services Division and requires strong field service experience in data centers, excellent communication,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM or business.
12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with optimal product mix and technical/commercial details.
Ensuring tenders are thoroughly documented with full costs.
Leading and managing technical, financial, and project management aspects of bid development.
Managing documentation and tracking bid statuses and decisions.
