Flexential is seeking a Data Center Technician II to provide 24/7 physical and technical support for client environments. The role requires strong Windows knowledge, power and cooling system familiarity, and excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

You will own audits, support junior staff, monitor alarms, and manage access control while supporting documentation and compliance with cabling standards. A passion for reliability and 24x7 operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 24/7 production environment.
• Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of networking (Routing, Subnets, and Protocols).
• Technical aptitude with UPS, generators, HVAC, PDUs, and power basics.
• 2–4 years IT/Data Center support experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with 568A/B pin-outs.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Audit tasks ownership and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Support junior technicians and QA documentation.
• Respond to customer calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure alarms and issues.
• Manage access control and badge procedures.
• Coordinate Remote Hands tasks and maintenance work.
• Escalate to engineering via ServiceNow tickets.
• Lead provisioning tasks and project ownership for tasks.
• Maintain site safety and emergency readiness.
