Flexential Corp. is seeking a Data Center Technician I to provide physical and Level II technical support in a 24x7 environment. The role requires handling customer interactions professionally, monitoring infrastructure, and performing hardware installations following company standards.

The ideal candidate will have Windows OS knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts in a fast-paced data center. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-4 years of IT or Data Center Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by prioritizing satisfaction and professionalism; respond to customer phone calls and emails promptly and effectively.
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues and alarms; escalate to engineering staff as needed in a fast-paced data center.
• Perform security walkthroughs and manage sign-in/badging procedures for customers and visitors.
• Track time spent on tasks and support cases including installations, expansions, outages and remote hands activities.
• Follow cabling standards and document work in systems like ServiceNow.
• Maintain data center cleanliness, inventory, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Support hardware installations, maintenance requests, and ticket updates.
• Document shift activities and ensure continuity of operations across teams.
