Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain hardware and network components across AWS data centers. You will perform server rack installations, diagnose issues, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability.

The role requires 2+ years in hardware troubleshooting and network troubleshooting (L1/L2), with a flexible schedule including nights and holidays. Relocation stipends may be provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking troubleshooting experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware repairs.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting service availability.
• Serve as primary contact with engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance.
• Document issues and contribute to process improvements.
