Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Technician to install server racks, repair hardware, and troubleshoot network issues across AWS data centers. The role requires working in a 24/7 environment and travel between sites as needed.

You will collaborate with engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts to keep AWS infrastructure running smoothly while supporting documentation and onboarding of new teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on various components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to documentation and training of new team members.
