Job summary

Digital Realty seeks a Site Engineer II to join the Data Center Operations team at Richardson, TX. You will support 24x7 uptime of mission critical systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, and fire/life safety.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in mission critical facilities operating/engineering.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with cross-discipline competence.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems and architectures.
• Understanding of redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N, ATS/STS).
• Experience with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand facility layout and operation of MEP systems with accurate one-lines.
• Maintain SOPs, SOOs, and EOPs; manage alarm functionality and escalation.
• Create and manage CMMS change work orders and incident reports.
• Oversee maintenance and inspections to ensure 100% uptime and SLA compliance.
• Supervise construction activity and site change management processes.
