Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I to join the Data Center Operations team at one of our Texas properties. You will support mission critical infrastructure, including UPS, generators, HVAC, and BMS systems, contributing to 24x7 uptime and SLA compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical or mechanical work, development of SOPs, incident reporting, change management, and CMMS/DCIM usage. You will work under the Manager Engineering Operations to maintain optimal operations and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering or equivalent equipment experience.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in the area of non-expertise (e.g., electrical with mechanical competence, or vice-versa).
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and architectures, and cooling systems across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Gain a complete understanding of facility layout and MEPrelated items and illustrate site one-lines with accuracy.
• Contribute to SOPs, change management tickets, incident reporting, and routine site maintenance.
• Support CMMS/DCIM data entry, incident resolution, and safety procedures.
