Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I to join the Data Center Operations team in Hillsboro. You will support 24x7 operations, help maintain mission critical equipment, and contribute to procedures, incident reporting, and change management.

You will work on electrical or mechanical tasks, understand UPS and cooling architectures, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards while advancing occupancy uptime and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in the area of non-expertise.
• Strong knowledge of various UPS Systems and architectures.
• Strong knowledge of various cooling systems and architectures.
• Understanding of infrastructure redundancy configurations and risks.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of site MEP systems, SOOs, SOPs, and EOPs with accuracy.
• Create and edit incident reports, change orders, and SOP updates.
• Troubleshoot site mechanical and electrical systems and respond to incidents.
• Perform rounds/inspections to detect anomalies and maintain uptime.
• Support inspections, maintenance, and closure of work orders in CMMS.
