Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II to join our Data Center Operations team in Garland, TX. You will contribute to daily site operations, maintain and inspect mission critical systems, and support change management and incident reporting to ensure maximum uptime.

The role requires hands-on electrical or mechanical skills, expertise in UPS, HVAC, fire/life safety, and proficiency with CMMS, BMS, and DCIM systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mission critical facilities operating/engineering or equivalent equipment experience.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in the area of non-expertise.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, cooling architectures and data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Understand facility layout and operation of MEP systems, and illustrate site one-lines with accuracy.
• Maintain and modify site operating procedures and SOPs; participate in change management and incident reporting.
• Troubleshoot and maintain data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and adherence to SLAs.
