Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer I to join our data center operations team at one of our Ashburn properties. The role focuses on mission critical infrastructure including generators, UPS, HVAC, fire/life safety, BMS, and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in mission critical facilities engineering or operations.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill with cross-competence in the other domain.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and cooling architectures.
• Familiarity with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to daily site operations and update SOPs.
• Create/modify change management tickets and incident reports.
• Perform site maintenance, inspections, and repairs for 24x7 data center uptime.
• Understand and support site MEP systems and equipment SOOs and EOPs.
• Assist in growth of procedures, training, and safety practices.
