Job summary

Digital Realty in Dallas is seeking a Manager Data Center Operations to oversee local data center activities, lead engineering, construction, and service delivery, and ensure seamless connectivity for customers.

You will supervise installation, maintenance, and incident response, coordinate with Sales Engineering, Design & Construction, and Colocation Operations, and drive standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10 years related facility management experience in data center ops.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading data center operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience in construction, commissioning and operation of mission critical systems.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, networking and connectivity standards.
• Proficiency with CMMS, DCIM and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24x7 data center operations to maintain 100% uptime and SLA compliance.
• Supervise construction, testing, and installations with internal/external teams.
• Manage provisioning of data center services including colocation and connectivity.
• Coordinate customer move-ins, deployments, and power/cable installations.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and post-event remediation.
• Develop and audit SOPs and maintenance standards.
• Manage maintenance contracts and vendor performance.
