ABB in the United States is seeking a senior operations leader for the Data Center Services Center of Excellence. You will run day-to-day service activities across the Data Center segment, lead the surge team development, and ensure high-quality execution while adhering to HSE standards.

This role offers remote work within the US (prefer Western/Mountain time zones) with substantial travel up to 50% and a path to shape global field service strategy in alignment with ABB’s objectives.

Competenze

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or commensurate experience.
• Sound knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies, field service personnel development and the electrical industry within the Data Center market.
• Knowledge of MS suite of products including MS Project, Google suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides), SAP, and project issue resolution software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore, etc.).

• Improves service availability, quality, and customer experience across all field service operations.
• Develops, implements, and reviews field service strategy aligned with global business objectives.
• Ensures strong customer focus, urgency, and care in all service interactions to drive retention.
• Drives continuous improvement, firsttimeright execution, and KPIbased performance management.
• Identifies onsite opportunities to enhance customer operations and communicates them to account teams.
• Leads a culture of operational excellence, risk management, and effective endtoend service delivery.
• Manages resource planning, workload balancing, and compliance with all HSE standards and ABB Way requirements.
• Oversees Surge Team operations, including onboarding, training, compliance, and validation of timesheets, expenses, and supplier invoices.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and development for Field Service Engineers/Technicians to ensure highquality execution.
• Collaborates across ABB teams to assign personnel, resolve technical issues, support project execution, and drive continuous improvement.
