Job summary

ABB is seeking a CoE Field Service Operations Manager for the Data Center Division in the United States. This remote role focuses on daily management of Data Center Services Center of Excellence operations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient field service delivery.

You will lead the Surge Team, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive improvements across the service lifecycle while complying with ABB Way and HSE standards. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or commensurate experience.
• Knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies and field service personnel development.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Google Suite, SAP, and project issue resolution software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Understand power delivery equipment and safety standards.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Implements field service strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Improves service availability, quality and customer experience across all field service operations.
• Maintains strong customer focus, urgency and care in service interactions.
• Leads continuous improvement and KPI-based performance management.
• Oversees Surge Team onboarding, training, and timesheet validation.
• Collaborates with ABB teams to assign personnel and support project execution.
