Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our data center team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining project governance, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Your education and experience will be engaged on a daily basis, and you will be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts & coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and ensure successful project turnover.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.

Pre-design knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering

CMIT/EIT preferred
